The beginning of November was dry for the mid-Atlantic, ahead of a pretty rainy stretch for a lot of the eastern Seaboard. This was the case for the first two days of the month in Johnstown, where temperatures were unseasonably warm, and only got warmer with consecutive days of clear skies. The Weather Channel had a narrow victory ahead of Victoria-Weather.
