Johnstown, Pennsylvania

Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope everyone had fun and got the good candy.

At 1154PM, ET, Johnstown was reporting clear skies and a temperature of 47 degrees. High pressure was entrenched over the mid Atlantic and New England, despite an undulating jet and active weather in the Plains.
A jet streak running north to south in the Mississippi Valley will wither and dissipate as it approaches the stout high pressure ridge. A strong area of low pressure in the Plains will be blunted by the ridge, but it will lead to a rise in temperatures through the first couple of days of the month.
