ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Ryan Henning Ryan is the CEO and Chief Meteorologist at Victoria Weather.
He was born and raised in Minnesota, where he spent most of his formative years in the Minneapolis suburb of Victoria. There, he developed a fascination with the weather―thanks largely to his dad’s career in the airline industry. (Ryan loved the radar!) After earning a degree in synoptic meteorology from Purdue University, Ryan worked as an aviation meteorologist for eight years. He lives with his wife Katie, twin sons and three lively pets.
Ryan is the author of a Field Guide To Weather: Learn to Forecast the Weather, Identify Clouds and Storms, and Stay Safe but also enthusiastically writes about sports, Including a gig with The Sports Daily. He enjoys all sports, and is a frequent traveler, always looking for a game..

Anthony Dunkel Anthony came to Victoria Weather in 2008 and has been a valuable member of the team since then. He has a meteorology degree from St. Cloud State in Minnesota, but has lived all over the country, including in North Carolina, Illinois and California before finally making the Twin Cities his home.
