The trend in western Alabama during the end of the week was progressively cooler air marching in from the northwest. We saw that, in Tuscaloosa, where dense cold air moved in much more swiftly than any outlet had really bargained for. Low temperatures were at midnight, and since the cool down came faster and stronger than expected, everyone was far too warm on the overnight lows. Weatherbug ultimately earned the top forecast by having the coldest combined low forecasts for Thursday and Friday.
Actuals: Thursday .03 inches of rain, High 57,, Low 44
Friday – High 54, Low 31
