Danville, Illinois

Hello! Let’s try a forecast for once.

At 1215PM, CT, Danville was reporting a temperature of 29 degrees with light flurries and overcast skies. Danville found itself within a wave that has been rotating around a vast area of low pressure now over northeastern Canada. Persistent northerly flow has been blunted by the overcast this feature on the Labrador coast has produced, and a sharp cool down isn’t expected and hasn’t been seen.
At the upper levels, a broad upper level trough will only intensify, but because of that, the low along the Labrador Coast will remain in place. Overcast skies with a chance of flurries will continue through the day today, but a well defined surface trough will move in on Saturday to provide a bit of oomph to the snow shower activity.
