How close can you get to Washington while still remaining in Idaho? Lewiston is about as close as you can get! Let’s find out what’s happening in this border town tonight.
At 856pm PST, the temperature at Lewiston, ID was 27 degrees with light snow falling. An area of low pressure is found along the OR coastline, with a boundary connecting it through the Northern Rockies to a system starting to eject out over the Plains. Some light snow will linger into the early morning hours from this system, but high pressure found over Western Canada will push its way down into the region throughout the day Monday. While areas in Southern Idaho and eastern Oregon will continue to see some scattered snow showers, mainly up in the higher elevations, Lewiston will be void of such activity as we head into Tuesday. This high pressure will bring some colder temps with it and could possibly see some subzero temps on Wednesday.
