There was a tropical wave off the southeastern coast, as well as a weak cold front moving through the mid-Atlantic. There was a threat that some of this activity would produce some light shower activity in Vineland and southern New Jersey, but in truth, all it did was bring about cooler temperatures and lower humidity. Hard to complain about that. The Weather Channel ended up having the best forecast for southern New Jersey on this occasion.
