Mostly dry, but not completely.

Vineland behaved as expected by yours truly over the holiday weekend. The biggest surprise, I would say, is that it was very clear, and was therefore able to cool off much more rapidly than expected on Friday morning. That was the biggest cause of error in temperature forecasting, as the morning low was 59, a full 4 degrees lower than anyone predicted. There wasn’t much precipitation, which was kind of what I was expecting as well, given the trends at forecast time. Not as many caught on to this trend, and that allowed Victoria-Weather to climb to the top of the leaderboard, thanks to our dry forecast on Friday. Instead, there was less than an hour of rain early in the afternoon of the 4th.
Actuals: Friday – High 80, Low 59
Saturday – Trace of rain, High 81, Low 66

Grade: B-C
