Often times when we have a thunderstorm in the forecast, that can wreak havoc upon temperature forecasts. Not in Lake Charles, however. Despite a non standard day and a series of thunderstorms that brought over nearly an inch of rain on Wednesday, the top forecaster was only off by 5 degrees in total. The storms moved out of the city by Thursday morning (earlier than many anticipated), and even that didn’t mess up temperature forecasts by all that much. I didn’t want to spoil it a sentence earlier, but the top forecaster was Victoria-Weather.
Actuals: Wednesday – .9 inches rain in thunderstorms, High 55, Low 41
Thursday – High 55, Low 33
