Athens, Georgia

It's not often that I get to forecast for a state that I am actually in. I'm about an hour south of Athens in Macon right now. I'm terrible at taking vacations.

At 1151AM, ET, Athens was reporting clear skies with a temperature of 32 degrees. Athens found itself on the cold side of a very chilly cold front, which was being reinforced by a strong cold pool. Flurries were reported overnight in the area, but there isn't a cloud in the sky today.
There isn't much to suggest anything changing in the pattern, save for sunny skies allowing for a bit of a warm up through the middle of the week in Athens.
Tomorrow - Sunny, High 48, Low 20
Thursday - High 56, Low 30

TWC: Tomorrow - Generally sunny High 51, Low 20
Thursday - Mainly sunny. High 58, Low 30

AW: Tomorrow - Warmer with plenty of sunshine High 48, Low 20
Thursday - Milder with bright sunshine High 56, Low 30

NWS: Tomorrow - Sunny High 48, Low 20
Thursday - Sunny High 55, Low 30

WB: Tomorrow - Sunny High 48, Low 20
Thursday - Sunny High 55, Low 30

Very good model agreement in Athens. There won't be any weather surprises. The only clouds showing up are those induced by the Smokey Mountains.
