Ventura, California
Fun fact, the full name is San Buenaventura. That's a lot of letters. Last forecast of the year! Last post of the year!
At 951AM, PT, Ventura was seeing a temperature of 53 degrees with clear skies. Satellite showed an area of clouds over the Catalina Islands, demonstrating that a marine layer was poised to move on shore over the next two days, but that today would likely be warm and pleasant.
A strong ridge moving into the west coast will bring about a light southwesterly, onshore flow. The clouds and fog will likely make it's way inland tomorrow and Monday, only to burn off in the afternoon.
Tomorrow - Morning clouds, then clear, High 74, Low 48
Monday - Cloudy in the morning, becoming sunny, High 72, Low 47
TWC: Tomorrow - Mainly sunny High 74, Low 54

Before I show you the satellite with the thatch of clouds off the coast of Los Angeles, I want to wish all of you a happy new year and thank you for reading in 2011. Anthony and I will see you in 2012!
