Port St. Lucie, Florida

There are a lot of little towns along the Florida coast. Well, not little, but a lot of them that you may not have heard of or realize how close they are. I don't know where I am going with this.

At 147PM, ET, Port St Lucie was seeing mostly cloudy skies with a temperature of 75 degrees. A cool front was moving through the region, and was actually demarcated on the surface observations as lying between Stuart and West Palm Beach. There were a few light showers in and around the Palm Beach area, but most of the activity was off the coast, and northerly flow in Port St. Lucie was likely to prevent any additional wet weather today.
The jet is lying to the north of Florida, and no cool air will move into the Sunshine State. Instead, the pattern to the north is quite transient, and a ridge will move into the southeast. Expect splendid weather for any Holiday Plans in south Florida to begin this week.

Not bad, right? Here's a look at the radar, which shows only a little bit of rain in the Port St. Lucie area, and all of it to the south.
