A sharp cool down for west Texas
Texas, at the beginning of the week, was still in the throes of summer. It was hot and dry, and remained that way in El Paso on Monday, when temperatures peaked at 90. There was a sharp, rapid cool down on Tuesday, however, as a dry cold front swung through town and knocked temperatures down by almost 20 degrees. Weatherbug did the best work with the seasonal transition.
