Worcester, Massachusetts to Johnson City, Tennessee
This trip is perfectly timed, frankly. There was a Nor'easter earlier, well, today, and there won't be another for a couple of days. It's a roughly two days in the car from Massachusetts to eastern Tennessee at a fairly slow pace of about 59mph. The 819 mile drive will be paused at the 475 mile mark. Let's get on the road.
DAY ONE

There will be a remnant trough riding through the Mid-Atlantic, primarily introducing some showers from about Harrisburg southward. The rain won't be terribly heavy or widespread, but in the mountains, slick roads can be a little problematic. Most of the drive will be OK, but those last couple hours into Mount Olive in northern Virginia will be a bit showery.
DAY TWO
Warm weather will filter north as the rain ends. There could be some cloudy skies early in the day, but other than that, we will see close to 80 degrees by the time we arrive in Johnson City. Not too bad for early April.
